God loves us, and He has good plans for us.  The following verses are from the Bible which is His written word to all people, everywhere.  If you are genuinely seeking to know your Creator, ask Him to reveal Himself to you and then read further.

GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION - What His Word Says  (Scriptures from New American Standard Bible)

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope."

John 14:27  "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful."

Matthew 11:28  "Come unto me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest."

John 3:16  "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."

John 10:10  Jesus said, "The thief (Satan) comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly."

But our sin separates us from God . . .

Isaiah 59:2  "But your sins have separated you from your God."

Romans 3:23  "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23  "For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

He loves us, just as we are . . .

Romans 5:8  "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

There is only one way that we can be forgiven and come into fellowship with God . . .

John 14:6  "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.'"

Revelation 3:20  "Behold, I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me."

John 1:12  "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."

Romans 10:9  "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."

1 John 1:9  "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Now, can you honestly think of any good reason why you shouldn't invite Jesus into your heart and life right now?

You can pray the following:

Lord God, I am a sinner.  I know I can't pay the penalty for my sin.  I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He lived a perfect and sinless life and that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin.  I believe that You raised Him from the dead, just like the Bible says.  I ask You to forgive me of all my sins and to make me a new person, just like the Bible says.  Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart and live inside of me and to fill me with your Holy Spirit.  I confess my sin and repent of my sin, and I turn from my sin and confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, genuinely recognizing your need of God's forgiveness and truly trusting the blood of Jesus to cover your sin, God wants to assure you of His forgiveness and His faithful hand on your life.  The following scriptures from the Bible are God's assurances to us, His born-again children.

Romans 10:13  "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."

Did you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life?

1 John 5:12-13  "He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.  These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life."

Ephesians 2:8-9  "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, so that none one may boast."

2 Corinthians 5:17  "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Romans 8:38-39  "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Philippians 1:6  "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus."

Philippians 2:13  "For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure."

Luke 15:10  "In the same way,  I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

John 5:24  "He who hears My Word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgement but has passed from death into life."
